Experienced Screen Print Manager - Dunstable

| Our client, one of the UK's leading garment decorators based in Dunstable, are seeking an experienced Print Manager to join and help develop, nurture and grow further their screen print department. The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the General Manager and working closely with the Senior Management Team. Key responsibilities will be: - to ensure production targets and deadlines are met on time by managing and coordinating the print team - to monitor production print speeds achieved per hour/per man and plan continual methods of improvement - to constantly monitor and control costs to achieve the correct balance between highest quality/lowest cost - to plan and manage the implementation of shift work, initially to cover peak periods with the view to eventually running the department on two shifts - to continually research and develop new inks/print methods for design and cost management - to motivate, develop, train and co-ordinate the print team - to manage and co-ordinate the pre-press department The ideal candidate will be dynamic, hands on, proactive, outgoing, confident, hard working and passionate about printing. Do you have significant previous experience in a quality garment screen print house? Are you IT literate? Do you have experience in the management and delivery of production targets and budgets? Do you have an understanding of colour separation methods and film output? Are you able to work occasional weekends, early mornings and late nights as required?
