| We are currently recruiting for a PROJECT MANAGER to join our team The job: Rolling Sound is looking for a full-time Project Manager for a fixed 3 – year contract to implement and project manage an innovative targeted engagement programme using creative multimedia. The project will recruit young people 16 – 19 who are Not in Education Employment or Training (NEET), and provide individually tailored packages of education and support. The structured program of activities will include mentoring, accredited multimedia training, personal social development, information advice and guidance, and will progress participants into employment, education or training. The post-holder will be responsible for ensuring that young people complete the course, and progress into education, training or employment. Key Roles & Responsibilities: • Lead or assist delivery of creative multimedia training sessions with a challenging client group, managing other tutors where appropriate, to ensure that relevant qualifications are achieved • Liaise with key statutory and independent agencies, for example employment services and housing, to ensure the appropriate target group are recruited and registered to the programme, and work proactively to develop a network of referral agencies. • Develop and manage a caseload of programme participants from within the targeted geographical areas, co-ordinating and monitoring individual progressions through the programme and beyond • Identify young people’s learning and personal development needs and support them to develop Individual Learning Plans • Act as the main focus of support, advice and guidance for programme participants throughout their time in on programme • Provide intensive one to one and group support and advice for clients covering personal and social development to enable young people to effectively engage with support agencies Provide continual review of client progression ensuring the programme continues to meet their needs ensuring personal, social, developmental support needs are also met • Liaise with colleagues, external agencies and stakeholders to provide progression routes and placement opportunities for clients. • Manage and complete data returns, gathering necessary data and paperwork associated with ESF contracts Essential requirements • Experience of working with young people • Proven group management skills • Self motivated and able to work independently and part of a team • Proven ability to work to challenging targets • Proven track record of employer/ educational liaison and job brokerage • Knowledge of local services and training provision and experience in stakeholder management • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills • Ability to comply with complex administrative requirements Desirable requirements • Experience of NEET-to-EET programmes • Knowledge of Arts Award at bronze and Silver or a willingness to undertake this training • Knowledge of the local labour market • Ability to conduct user needs assessment and identify any special needs. • Possession of PA Diploma or a professional level qualification (NVQ4 and above) e.g. NVQ4 in Guidance, or an equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. Youth Work, Teaching or Social Work), or NVQ4 LDSS • Knowledge or experience of working within Surrey and West Sussex areas An enhanced CRB clearance will be undertaken.
