We have a superb opportunity for the right candidate to join our client’s sales team as Area Sales Manager for the Midlands and to include mid Wales. You will have the desire and enthusiasm to build the area business, growing an already established customer base, with the determination to make your mark and take ownership of the development of the business in the area. You will have full support resources and you own energy will be the only limitation to the levels of your rewards and success. Ideal location would be central to that area in order to equally access all areas of this territory. Your role is to maintain existing accounts and develop additional business via existing and new accounts in order to maximise sales revenue and profits. The role will be selling a full range of automation and control components but with a focus upon variable speed drives, p.l.c's, HMI’s, power supplies and transformers, sensors and switches, safety switches, switchgear, control gear, relays, timers, temperature controllers, din rail connectors, circuit protection and other automation components. You are likely to already be a successful achiever in a similar role as an Area Sales Engineer/Manager, have a relevant Electrical/Electronic engineering qualification ( HND or Degree), however, applicants with full career experience in the controls market place will also be considered. Skills Required: Successful sales experience. Professional selling techniques. Knowledge of electronic products, their applications and markets. Negotiation at all levels. Computer literacy.
