We are currently recruiting for on e of the UK's award winning and leading Food Manufacturers who are well known for their cutting edge style, their innovation and creativity. Developing high quality branded products they have achieved number one status within the market place, confirming they have a superb reputation for training and development.

Due to their success they are now looking for an experienced Development Technologist to join their busy site in Lancashire. Reporting to the NPD Manager you will be involved in concept work on all new developments, seeing the process right through till launch as well as participating in customer visits. This is a high profile role where you will be seen as the future of the organisationand where you will have full accountability and destiny over your career. Working within the NPD Department our client expects that as a future driver of the business your ideas and awareness to develop new and exciting products will play a significant part of devising the future plans of the company. Working closely with the relevant managers on site you will have the opportunity to contribute immediately to the bottom line return and be a key member in driving forward cost saving projects.

As well as your development experience they are also looking for someone with some specifications experience too, including some or all of: raw materials specifications/risk assesements/internal monthly meetings, all customer specifications so knowledge of online specs, branded specifications - generation of pack copies, photographic standards and managing nutritional testing plans. These skilla are all preferred but not essentila to apply for the role.

The company has also just invested in Creations sofware so experience of this is an advantage.
