My client, a key electronics component and semiconductor distributor, seeks an Area Sales Manager with a technical sales background in the electronics sector. You may have specialised in semiconductors, electro mechanical components or connectors to this sector or have some other career history within the printed circuit board market place. You must have a knowledge of the sector, the major suppliers and customers and its dynamics. The role is open to either experienced area sales managers or someone looking to start their career in the Sales/Commercial path. This role is home based covering East Anglia so must be conveniently located. Requirements: - demonstrable success in Sales from the Semiconductor/Electronics distribution markets - self starter experienced in opening new accounts and growing business - sound technical knowledge of electronics and semiconductor components. Responsibilities: - manage and expand Customer Accounts to achieve sales targets - work well with Technical, Sales, Product Management and Marketing staff - negotiate, implement and manage contracts within key accounts - support all related strategic, marketing, pricing and advertising functions.
