Base 3 Systems Limited is a systems consultancy company specialising in Business Intelligence (BI) solutions typically deployed by blue-chip organisations. BI solutions range from high-level “Dashboard” applications providing snap-shots of Key Performance Indicators through to detailed analysis of individual customers data to support such things as Credit Risk, Marketing and CRM using various techniques including Data Mining, Modeling and the provision of warehoused data to support ad-hoc analysis. Within Base 3 Systems the Centre for Applied Analytics exists to select, train and deploy staff into this environment. New employees go through an 8 week training programme in Oracle, SAS or Ab Initio software designed to equip them with the skills required for deployment to a specific client. Many of the consultants are deployed to clients under the terms of the company's Advance Programme whereby the client has the opportunity to recruit the consultant, should both parties so wish, after a year. The Advance Programme provides a unique opportunity for fast-track career progression within the largest blue-chip companies. |
